FLYING AGAIN. Today is now Saturday and its time to solo again. The weather is much more cooperative today. Stacie did two good touch and gos and then dropped off Gail, her awesome flight instructor. All systems go.

Stacie takes off in the Piper while Gail and I are on the tarmac watching. I've got the video camera going to document this historic moment. The handheld radio that Gail has with her to listen to Stacie's radio calls will not turn on. Oh well, Stacie won't know and she will do just fine.

As she makes her ascent off the runway, we are expecting her to break left and remain in the pattern she just did on her practice runs. She breaks right! What the heck? As she circle to the right, we spot another plane coming in from the South which explains the pattern change. Two more touch and gos and a safe landing, and Stacie is back on the ground. Great job!

Thanks Babe! That pattern change was just as much a suprise to me as it was to you. I'm kinda glad you couldn't hear my radio calls, I was nervous, and I messed up a time or two, but on the other hand it would have been nice to have them recorded! LOL Stacie
